The 21st century workplace relies on the leadership abilities of every worker to advance the mission of the organization. These courses are for you – if you are an aspiring, future, or new leader within a technology company. Progressive technology companies invest in the leadership capacity of their personnel – to scale up their companies for growth. Alberta’s tech sector is experiencing exciting momentum, and leadership skills of next-level managers will be key to realizing the near-term growth opportunities ahead.
A partnership between the Peter Lougheed Leadership College at the University of Alberta, and Technology Alberta, and with funding from the Ministry of Advanced Education (Government of Alberta), “Tech Leadership for the Future” micro-credential series was created. While registration is now closed for this year’s intake in the micro-credential, limited spaces remain in some of the individual courses. These courses can be used towards future offerings of the micro-credential or as credit to other University of Alberta programs such as the Leadership Advanced Certificate.
The Peter Lougheed Leadership College creates supportive environments that inspire confidence to meet current and future workplace challenges through experiential learning and cutting-edge course material. Not only will participants expand their knowledge and practice what they have learned through PLLC’s hands-on approach, but they will also expand their networks.
Target Audience
- Enterpreneurial SME’s and technology company personnel who are interested in developing their leadership skills and growing their companies.
- Participants should have technical background and related degrees/diplomas.
