Happy (Fiscal) New Year to Alberta’s Tech Companies and Funders

Hello Alberta Tech Community!

Team work is critical to a community – and in an ecosystem made of Government, Industry, Academia, and Entrepreneurs – the last 3 months is where our community who work in and with government really go the extra mile. In an effort to support Alberta’s tech entrepreneurs – I have seen champions across federal and provincial levels work extremely long days to get the final documents completed in time, so that Alberta Tech Entrepreneurs have new, or renewed access to programs, starting as early as April, the New Fiscal Year for Provincial and Federal Budgets.

So to all – Hope that everyone had a chance to relax this long weekend – and Thank you to those who have helped strengthen Alberta’s tech ecosystem by supporting innovation programs. Happy New Year to Alberta’s tech entrepreneurs – and hope you find value in the programs that are now newly funded!
