Keeping on Course: Leaning-in to Community and Collaboration
Exciting to see such a province-wide interest in collaborating for the benefit of Alberta’s entrepreneurs continuing throughout the summer. Technology Alberta’s June ICE entrepreneur-led session had us partnering with the ERIN ( Regional Innovation Networks supported by Alberta Innovates) – and showcased the work of entrepreneurs like Health Gauge (see press release on their corporate partnership for AI-assisted weight loss applications), as well as highlighted how organizations of all size can effectively use the NAIT-CAMS (Centre for Advanced Medical Simulation) to test out technologies and scenarios in their immersive simulation centre. Thanks for the tours NAIT – and to the community for making this a sold-out event!
We have a lot in store for July – from the MacEwan University “Business 101” sessions with Edmonton Unlimited, to our newly launched “A Fair to Remember” 2023/2024 Series. Technology Alberta is so pleased to have the opportunity to partner with tech organizations across regions and throughout the province’s fairs and events, and bring a cross-section of Alberta innovators to the public, providing access and evidence to “Alberta’s Entrepreneurial Spirit” which is alive and well in the tech sector. From North to South – we are working with each region on their innovation theme of choice – where in Alberta, “A” can stand for anything from Agtech to Aerospace. Thank you to all participating entrepreneurial tech companies, who are truly taking a community-building approach and being available to the public, even when they may not be their direct customer.
Paying it forward – thank you all!
