ASTech Awards and Beyond… and Interesting Conversations
As promised – the list of this year’s ASTech Awards Winners is now available on the ASTech Awards website, and as well the gala presentation photos are being featured daily on the ASTech Awards and Technology Alberta linked-in feeds.
Special Thanks to VizworX for helping feature all the ASTech Award Finalists via interactive digital media through “Philespace” by Collection Science which is the common platform used on Energyphile and in Alberta Innovates “Learn How – Innovation Gallery”. The Interactive Billboards were a hit at both the Edmonton ASTech Awards Grande Opening, and then the Calgary ASTech Awards Gala – with many of the Finalists stopping by for photo-ops with their interactive Media-post.
Technology Alberta also arranged for hosts across the Conversation Series at both events – where innovation community leaders, entrepreneurs, and scientists – engaged participants on topics such as Innovation in: Life Sciences, AI/ML, Smart Manufacturing, Cleantech, Construction, Digital, Social and more. The most popular topic was… Social Innovation, with a special thanks going out to co-host Areto Labs! Definitely an innovation focus that is both a high need, and high value – as well as a Conversation that we can all contribute to. This is especially exciting to see this high level of interest from our strong Science and Technology focused audience – and it probably didn’t hurt that Areto’s major accounts now include hockey teams.
