Congratulations to a Provincial Village on Life Sciences Week – and more excitement ahead
As an entrepreneurial-innovative-tech-company-focussed industry association, Technology Alberta has taken a cross-sector view on events – and have participated on topics ranging from Artificial Intelligence, to Advances in Agriculture. Therefore of course when we were invited to be a partner for last week’s inaugural Alberta-wide celebration of Life Sciences Week – we were very happy to host a well attended Talent Needs in Life Sciences Panel session at the Advanced Technology Centre – with award-winning tech-leaders from: Nyah Health, Clinisys, Nanospeed Diagnostics, and Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation (API).
What we did not expect – was that by giving back to build momentum for the Life Sciences’ Community – Technology Alberta would be part of over 20 events that helped make Alberta innovation community history! Life Sciences Week in Alberta was phenomenal – a clear global need and sector strength of the province, and welcoming to all! Events took place across the province – and ranged from tours, to ministerial speeches, to Gala’s, to ground-breaking announcements, to company pitch-events, to inspirational words from our Nobel Prize winner, to closing celebrations.
Congratulations Provincial Innovation Village you did it again! Keep the invitations coming community-builders -Technology Alberta will spread the word and we are happy to help. So excited to see that “the tide is lifting all boats” across the province!
And of course, see you at the ASTech Awards – October 27 (Edmonton), and November 3 (Calgary).
