It seems like what we spend the most time pondering on, at Technology Alberta, is “How do we bring a concise value proposition to 1 sentence, so that people can understand what we do, why we do it, and why they should attend”.

Usually that is where a ‘fresh set of eyes’ can provide the greatest value.. thus for the amazing opportunity ahead on.. “Why come out to the ASTech Awards – Grande Opening or Gala”, here are some of my recent favourites:

– IF YOU’RE STILL LOOKING TO “CRACK THE CODE” OF ALBERTA’S TECH CHOPS.. – from Bill Whitelaw, 27,000 Linked-In followers and “Top Strategic Communications Voice” and also our Calgary ASTech Event Co-host, and kindred spirit in wanting to lift all of Alberta up, through innovation. Bill is both insightful and entertaining, coming from his 25+years as a wordsmith, publisher and/or CEO with June-Warren-Nickles and Glacier Publishing, tracking a wide-range of sectors in Alberta and beyond.

– “.. engage with an amazing cross-section of outstanding people and projects..” from Jeff LaFrenz, VP Technology Alberta and President VizworX, a dynamic ASTech-winning AR/VR tech company.

– “..the vibe continues to be amazing, where everyone is offering to help introduce each other to the key people, networks and programs that can help advance the work of the innovators..” is what we heard from champions in government ministries, who attended last year’s ASTech Grande Opening Ceremony and Innovation Showcase.

So that is what can happen – when you “Cross the Streams” and bring together a multi-sector, multi-location, multi-generational group of innovation champions – in a manner that can celebrate and support Alberta’s research and entrepreneurial talent.
